Exceptional packaging and labelling is absolutely vital in establishing the credentials of the brand 'on sight' and generating impulse purchases.

The management team has conducted considerable research into the packaging most suitable for the range and will at some point in the future commission a customised, proprietary bottle design to which it would have exclusive worldwide rights.
Until that is possible, the company has identified a stylish bottle design, produced in Italy, that best matches its aspirations for the Strait Vodka range.

This superior bottle design extends from 50ml to one litre and will clearly satisfy the ‘on sight’ recognition test.

It further strengthens the Strait branding by providing consistency of packaging from miniature through to one litre.

Sales of the Strait Vodka range will be in one litre, 700ml, 500ml, 375ml and 50ml bottles.

The smaller sizes are aimed to appeal to tourist purchaser of souvenir gifts as they will be less bulky in transit. 

The availability of a 375ml bottle - standard Australian stubby size - also provides the flexibility, at some stage in the future, to launch Strait branded ready-to-drink products. This will be achieved  in conjunction with an admired, 170 year old Tasmanian fruit syrup producer - Doran’s Fine Foods.

Market research has produced a near 100 per cent approval rating for the packaging and Strait branding.

Liqueurs will be packaged in 200ml seahorse and dolphin-shaped bottles procured from the same Italian factory.

Unfortunately no company in Australia is able to match the quality of design and innovation achieved by the Italian manufacturer. 

The highest standards of excellence in packaging and labelling will be maintained consistently across the entire Strait Drinks and Strait Fine Food product ranges.
