Strait Drinks' sales and marketing operation is headed by managing director Philip Ridyard, who has a long record of brand development within the international beverage sector.

Superior and effective marketing is a key focus of the business and each director has an important role within the marketing team.

Chairman Michael Turner's vast experience in domestic and international sales within other businesses is used to great effect, while production director Bill Carbray has a hands on passion for the products he has crafted.

That passion is widely acknowledged by the front line members of the hospitality trade who dispense Strait spirits and liqueurs across Australia.

Trade relations manager Donna Ridyard heads the retail and wholesale operation at the Tamar Distillery, Beauty Point, and hosts trade events and tastings within the hospitality industry. She draws on over 25 years' experience in the hotel business.

Peter Vandenbosch is a Strait Drinks' roving ambassador and joins the team as a consultant with an excellent track record in the development of Tasmanian wine sales in mainland Australia.

All shareholders, drawn from hospitality, tourism, manufacturing, business to business and media sectors, have been actively involved in the marketing of the business and its brands and are passionate about success. They are drawn from different states in Australia and have been excellent advocates.
